Privacy notice
Last updated: [DATE]
This notice explains how ONI Growth Co. uses personal information. ONI Growth Co. is run by Ashley Corbett, a sole trader based in Staffordshire, UK ("I", "me"). If you have any questions, email info@onigrowthco.co.uk.
The two roles I play
- Data controller for enquiries. When you contact me, book a call, or become a client, I decide how your information is used. This notice mainly covers that.
- Data processor for my clients' customer data. When I set up and run a booking system for a detailer, the details of their customers (names, numbers, car details, bookings) belong to that detailer. They are the data controller and I only handle that data on their instructions. If you are a customer of one of my clients, please contact that detailer directly about your data.
What I collect
- Your name, business name, phone number and email address.
- What you tell me about your business, for example your services, prices and area.
- Booking details, such as the time of your call.
- If you become a client: billing details, contract details, and the access needed to set up your system and (if you choose) your ad account.
Why I use it, and my legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call – legitimate interests (responding to people who contact me), or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To provide my services and invoice you – performance of a contract.
- To keep business and tax records – legal obligation.
- To send you occasional updates – only if you've agreed, and you can opt out at any time.
Who I share it with
I don't sell your data. I share it only with services that help me run the business, such as:
- GoHighLevel (CRM, calendar, texts and email), used for enquiries and for clients' systems;
- Netlify (website hosting);
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only where you've asked me to run ads in your ad account;
- my email provider, payment provider and accountant.
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the USA. Where data leaves the UK, I rely on the safeguards the provider has in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't go further: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after our work ends, as required for tax.
- Client customer data (as a processor): deleted or handed back to the client when our agreement ends, as the client instructs.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. The booking calendar is provided by GoHighLevel and may set cookies needed for it to work.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or object to me using it. You can also withdraw consent at any time where I rely on it. Email info@onigrowthco.co.uk and I'll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
